About this stone
Called the 'merchant's stone,' Citrine radiates solar energy that attracts abundance, success, and joy. It stimulates the solar plexus chakra, boosting confidence, creativity, and the power to manifest goals.
Geology · Formation
How it forms: Natural heat 'frying' iron impurities.
Natural Citrine is a rare variety of quartz that has been 'baked' by the Earth’s internal heat. It forms in the same environments as Amethyst—hydrothermal veins and geodes—but at much higher temperatures. Natural Earth-heat (or radioactivity) 'fries' the iron impurities within the quartz lattice, shifting the color from purple to golden yellow. The Result: A range of hues from pale yellow to deep honey and amber.
