Larimar is a rare blue variety of Pectolite, found only in one square kilometer of the Dominican Republic. It forms in 'amygdales'—gas bubbles left behind in ancient volcanic lava. Copper-rich hydrothermal fluids fill these cavities and crystallize into vibrant white-and-sea-blue patterns.
