How it forms: Ancient metamorphic seams.
Lemurian Jade is a unique combination of Jadeite, Quartz, and Pyrite from the vicinity of ancient metamorphic seams. It forms in regional metamorphic zones under intense pressure. A complex blend of minerals (including mica and graphite) crystallizes together during tectonic shifts. The Result: An opaque stone that is either 'Midnight' black or 'Shadow' grey with shimmering metallic inclusions.
