How it forms: Chlorite/Iron 'gardens' in quartz.
Lodolite (or Garden Quartz) is clear quartz that has literally grown around a tiny ecosystem of other minerals. It forms in hydrothermal environments. As the quartz grows, it 'captures' Chlorite, Feldspar, and Iron Oxide 'moss.' The Result: Transparent quartz with a 3D internal 'landscape' of greens, reds, and creams.
