What it is
Minerals containing arsenic and oxygen. Adamite forms vivid yellow-green crystal clusters that fluoresce bright green under UV light. Despite containing arsenic, adamite is safe to handle — just don't lick it.
How it forms
Forms in the oxidation zone of zinc-arsenic ore deposits where groundwater dissolves and redeposits the metals.
